Event Description:

The national celebration of culture days is a community and volunteer-driven celebration. This is an amazing opportunity for our community leaders and members to create something meaningful by showcasing everyone’s cultural roots and participating in other cultural and arts events for free for 3 days.

We, at NRCC, are excited to announce that this year, we are participating in the culture days celebration. We are offering our creative resources to interested community organizations to help make this year’s celebration become more memorable and super fun for everyone to participate in.

In order to achieve this, we cordially invite and highly encourage all interested groups and individuals to join the Culture Days 2019 planning committee.

What is “Culture Days”?

Culture Days is a collaborative movement to encourage awareness, participation, and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. Now in its ninth year, this Canada-wide celebration represents the largest-ever public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in this country. Culture Days will feature free hands-on activities that invite the public to participate in the “behind-the-scenes” world of artists, creators, heritage workers, architects, curators, and designers in their community. Through this exchange, artists and creators have a unique opportunity to engage people of all ages in their creative practice. Culture Days will take place on September 27, 28 AND 29, 2019, in all provinces and territories. To learn more about Culture Days, visit

Refreshment is provided and you are also welcome to bring something to contribute. See you at the event!
